Project Risk Manager – TURKSAT 6A Satellite Project

Responsibilities

• Led project risk management activities throughout the 10-year project lifecycle.

• Developed and maintained the Project Risk Management Plan in compliance with ECSS standards and ISO 31000.

• Established and managed the Project Risk Register, ensuring continuous identification, assessment, monitoring, and mitigation of risks.

• Facilitated periodic risk review meetings with multidisciplinary engineering teams and project stakeholders.

Project Goal

Establishing the infrastructure required for the development of satellite subsystems that can be used in earth observation satellites within the country

 

Project Risk Manager – IMECE Earth Observation Satellite Project

Responsibilities

• Managed project risk activities throughout the 2-year project lifecycle.

• Prepared and maintained the Project Risk Management Plan in accordance with ECSS standards and ISO 31000.

• Established and maintained the Project Risk Register, including risk identification, assessment, mitigation, and monitoring.

• Conducted regular risk review meetings with project teams and key stakeholders.

• Performed qualitative and quantitative risk analyses to support project planning and decision-making.

• Monitored risk response actions and reported project risk status to senior management.

• Supported project reviews, technical milestones, and audits by providing risk assessments and mitigation recommendations.

As part of the MİYEG (National Ground Station Development Project), the project aims to develop domestically the ground station control system software and hardware, reflector antenna system, communication system, satellite command and control software, and image processing software that transforms raw satellite imagery captured by Earth observation satellites into meaningful and usable data. In addition, the project includes the development of a GPS (Global Positioning System) receiver suitable for use on Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellites.

Associate Project Manager & Project Risk Manager – MİYEG (National Ground Station Development Project)

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Assisted the Project Manager in planning, executing, monitoring, and controlling the project throughout the 4-year project lifecycle.

• Prepared and maintained project management plans and project documentation in compliance with ECSS standards.

• Developed and managed the Project Risk Management Plan in accordance with ISO 31000 and ECSS risk management requirements.

• Established and maintained the Project Risk Register, including risk identification, assessment, mitigation, and monitoring activities.

• Coordinated project schedules, milestones, deliverables, and multidisciplinary engineering teams.

• Organized project review meetings, tracked action items, and prepared project status reports for management.

• Supported change management, stakeholder communication, and project governance activities to ensure successful project execution.

Configuration Manager – Payload Development Project​

• Managed configuration management activities throughout the 2.5-year project lifecycle.

• Prepared and maintained the Configuration Management Plan in compliance with ECSS standards.

• Managed configuration identification, baselines, change control, status accounting, and configuration audits.

• Controlled Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) and ensured full traceability of project documentation, software, and hardware baselines.

• Coordinated with multidisciplinary engineering teams to maintain configuration integrity across the project lifecycle.

• Supported project reviews, verification activities, and documentation management to ensure compliance with quality and engineering standards.

Associate Project Manager & Risk Manager – Ballistic Trace Image Processing Project

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Led a cross-functional hybrid team, coordinating business, data, and technical stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

• Managed project scope, schedule, budget, risks, issues, and resource allocation using Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

• Defined project objectives, success criteria, and deliverables aligned with business requirements.

• Facilitated sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and stakeholder meetings.
