🎯 Project Objectives
Control and communication of Turkey’s national satellites (such as the TURKSAT series and İMECE) through domestically developed ground stations.
Reducing foreign dependency in satellite control and nationalizing critical infrastructure.
Ensuring uninterrupted data flow in defense, communication, and scientific research.
🛠️ Technical Features
Antenna Diameter: 7.3 meters – the largest reflector antenna system designed and manufactured in Turkey.
Installation: Test setup completed in İkitelli, Istanbul; permanently deployed at the TUBİTAK UZAY campus.
Testing: Factory Acceptance Tests successfully carried out.
Completion: Planned for 2020; national satellites can now communicate via the national ground station.
